Seow Eu Jin

BSc(Hons) Optom (Manchester)

Eu Jin graduated with a Bachelor of Optometry from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Science (with Distinction) in Optometry from Aston University. He also clinched the coveted Gold Medal Award from the Ministry of Health for academic excellence. The early years saw him honing his clinical skills in Tan Tock Seng Hospital and managing a satellite eye clinic.

With a strong desire to push boundaries in the eyecare industry, he then joined Essilor's R&D team. During this period, he conducted extensive research in myopia and specialised multifocal lenses in France, China and US that resulted in the birth of the first generation of myopia treatment lenses and customization of progressive lenses for Asians.

He later obtained a Doctor of Naturopathy with studies done on Alpha-Lipoic Acid.

Always having the curiosity in exploring the many realms of Optometry has also seen his extensive involvement in academia for close to 2 decades in Singapore Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Aston University. He has also taught on an ad-hoc basis in Mahidol University, Bangkok and Indonesia.

Having explored the many spheres of Optometry, he has gravitated towards a very fulfilling role of a private practice Optometrist by focusing on combating myopia; customising an array of treatment programmes such as in Ortho-K, specialised contact lenses and spectacles lenses.

Raymond Toh

Raymond graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Optometry) from the University of Manchester. He spent his early years at an optical chain store where he cemented his knowledge on ophthalmic lens and contact lens fitting. In a short period of time, he took on the managerial role in that company.

Raymond then moved on to a local polytechnic where he managed the operation of its Optometry Centre. During this time, he worked hand in hand with educators, liaised with optometrists and coached students to provide comprehensive eyecare services to the public.
